The Voynich Manuscript

The Voynich Manuscript has baffled scholars ever since its discovery in 1912. But I've been reading it all this week and I might have made some breakthroughs, I think.

If we look at this page (page 10, in the manuscript)



it appears to say

And I said to mother that she need not
cry but she could not stop her
tears because of what she had seen.
"Bryan of The Crossing Sea! His face will
haunt me until I die" she cried. And
then she died. I laid her body between
the lilies and watched her sink beneath
the waters of the lake. I vowed revenge

I have no idea what it could mean though.

Creeper

I stepped carefully into her bathroom and quietly locked the door behind me. Turning my head slowly from left to right, I took in the scene. My palms began to feel sticky. My pulse quickened; I could feel it in my temples. Walking over to her sink, I picked up her toothbrush and put it in my mouth like a lollipop. I sucked at the bristles, hoping to get a taste of her. I put it down, foiled, and stroked the bar of soap next to the hot tap. I rolled it over in my hands, inspecting it closely. Nothing.
